Haven't been blogging for a few days!

Quick run through:

Wed- LONG LONG DAY ): Went home with felicia and carissa afterwards I think!

Thurs - Bene comp train! Chionging syllabus is needed now ):

Friday- Centrestage! Their singing was really awesome! And congrats to the winners and good job to the rest too! Really enjoyed the whole concert even though I was starving! In the end even though she ate Germaine was also hungry as well! What a pig HAHA.

Today: SNCO POP! (: Felt so good to come together as team 6 again! Although I only met them for Course day 1, Precamp and camp day 1, I guess I sort of know them already!

Pretty tiring day x.x although it was kind of fun. Parade rehearsals alllllll the way till lunch, and then a ceremony to give out the certs and all that, then parade rehearsal and finally the parade. My legs are really tired to the max now. If you ask me to walk and do stuff now, I'll just ignore you.

BUTBUTBUT. It was really cool and I like how our corps officers mounted the ranks for us! ^^ Sir Zoel mounted for me and he was so so funny!! Got our adult beret crest too! (:

Haven't been posting in a while (: And I haven't turned on my laptop since monday :D Hahaha I'm definitely going to on it tomorrow :)

These few days were not bad! Yesterday was bene comp train! And there is another comp train this thursday ahahaha. Improving along the way I guess :)

Oh ajd a random thought that came into my mind during chinese yesterday: when the whole class reads a ke wen together, its really slowwww and monotonous BUT it somehow can be so coordinated :D like we pause for the same amount of time and then everyone starts readingg again xD

Today was a good day :) Ended school with chinese make up test, and then went for piano at germ's house :D Was SUPER epic after dinner, because we were playing with her webcam and there's this website with lots of retarded effects like mona lisa ans stuff and started laughing like some crazy woman.

LOL it was sooo epic HAHA I just love that crazy girl :)

Have really been laughing alot lateky, but I guess it's a good thing :D

2nd part of the SAP seminar today! :D

The seminar was really very funnnn! The main program was the exhibition. Before that lots of epic things happened like how we went down to take the cakes for others, meaning we took ALOT and we look like greedy pigs.

Anyway, THE PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS ARE SO CUTE :D Esp. the last group! They're like so cuteeeee and vocal and enthu! Hahaha unlike my primary school life :P Played the game with them and hope they enjoyed it!! It was so epic, like how they interpreted the chinese 甲骨文 as pictures. i.e, 不 in 甲骨文 looks like jellyfish according to them.

IT WAS SO FUNNY!!

Anyway, had lunch at KFC with Yin Hang and Sharon! (: Half way through our lunch, a group of crazy girls came to wave goodbye. EPICCCC ttm. Went home by circle line afterwards :D

On a side note, hope RT went well today! :)

These two days have been good! :D Because I laughed a lot, like really a lot.

Laughing is good for your health! Although it causes stomach muscle aches and the development of abs, its still good because at least you are happy! ^^

Anyway, yesterday, was supposedly going to go home alone, then met Serene and Rui Xian on the stairs, so decided to go home with them :D But the oh-so-blur serene forgot her keys so she's staying in school first. Went home with ruixian and she and her wanton is JUST SO EPIC OMG. Laughed all the way to the busstop because of her epic-ness with her wanton and leopard prints. Its indescribable-ly funny!

Went to her house after wards. Talked to her and caught up after sooo long, but I'm sitting beside her now so its okay :D

Today!

Epic day with 9 other dunmanians at NYGH! :D SAP seminar XD

The people there are all so nice and I managed to get to know more people from our level! :D It was really funny and great interacting with the people there, and there are 5 schools from shanghai! :D

The seminar was cool and fun unlike what I expected! Going to the second part of the seminar tomorrow! (: YAY~

Shall go off to slack now. BYE!

Short post before I go and do my Logarithm worksheets. I think Log is kind of interesting now but then it can be confusing!!

Anyway, today was a pretty long day, but it was survivable?

Went to the Math Sphere for compre and summary test today (: AIRCON 8D

CME was fun! Talked about how to properly take care of your money and about how much parents spend on us and all that. Jinlaoshi even showed us the horoscope thing! XD

Kay anyway, today was an okay day. Started off with soccer during PE. Quite fun but I'm just not into soccer hahaha ooops.
The rest of the lessons were okay I guess, not much things happened. But during LA I think 3G totally laughed until stomachache xD

Mrs Vora asked some people to read the passage that she have just went through, and Hua Sheng was Ross. It was super epic omg and made us laughed until we have stomachache!

Really love 3G for how epic some people are xD And yay we got our classtee today! Kind of plain but I still like it :D

Anyway, there's Math test tomorrow (first period) and probably Chem pop quiz tomorrow. Half way through revision for math and I got bored so decided to post before going back to revision :)

Sometimes Inreally wonder how I can always get into a class with nice people and nice teachers everytime! Maybe its just how I feel but I'm really thankful for that :)

Yes typing on a touch screen isn't easy, so I shall go back to revision now :)

I guess today was a good day! :D

Started off with 3 periods of Bio and there are so many epic moments in class with Miss Heng! xD After which was recess then 3 periods of Chinese! Haha, had some Taiwan students coming in and it was spent talking about the two passages and 微型小说. I think the stories that Honglaoshi told us was quite funny but nice :)

Next was lunch then assembly!

Its kind of cool that almost all year 3 and 4 students were staring at the clock waiting for 12:34:56 and when the seconds turned to "56", everyone will start cheering and clapping! IT WAS REALLY COOL! And everyone just started laughing because we were clapping for the same thing. I bet the teachers were like stunned because the dance was about to start and we clapped xD

Physics was epic as usual, but kinematics seems hard T_T

Math... As usual?

Afterwards, Bene Comp Train! Taught quite a number of things today, and taught marching! (: Had a really epic talk about translating everything into Chinese afterwards, which really made me laugh until stomachache (literally).

Stayed back and slacked around on the netball court, and REALLY EPIC THINGS HAPPENED. I think we ran around like crazy, and played like crazy too. Maybe its only us three that's zihigh-ing but it's the second time in the day that I laughed so much! Finally decided to make our way home at 7:30. Sky was turning dark!

I think today is really a good day. Never laughed so hard about translations before, and playing with those crazy girls is really a good way to pass time xD

Was intending to type a short post because I need to get off my laptop and START DOING WORK! :D

Just reached home 1 hour ago!

I think its pretty cool to be part of such events! Like although we literally slacked today and stuff, it was still fun! :)))

Like what I had mentioned, it was sort of slack, but walked around the school a lot! And our school didn't seem like our school at the zhengxinyuan and at the parade square! It's niceeee :D And there was some security screening thing at the parade square O_O

Anyway, SAW SENIOR MINISTER GOHCHOKTONG! Was at the zhengxinyuan watching him speak for like 1minute + then had to leave le ): Went back to KSP room to slack, then went to the sickbay!

Nice experience being an usher, although it was kind of tiring. But hahaha, once in a lifetime chance I guess!

Tired ))): But if I don't start on ACE I bet we're just gonna dieeee!

SO yup! Shall start doing ACE (:

ITS FINALLY FRIDAY at 11:11 PM

YAY ITS FRIDAY :D

Survived one whole week of lessons! :)

I kind of love this week because there's no flag raising in the morning, so we can all stay in class :D

Anyway, today we had first aid refresher course, which was mainly to revise all the practical stuff that the standard ones might be tested on tomorrow. CPR, not bad I guess! (: But thinking back about the EFA times, I think I was like chionging my whole first aid manual the night before!

Yupp, I think tumblr really makes my day :) My mom just PMS-ed me for who-knows-what-reason and I opened tumblr, saw this really funny post, and laughed! (Y)

Had a long talk with DJ today! Talked about careers, freaky stuff and life with her today! Haha haven't had a long talk with her for quite some time XD

This is random, but I love squad and 3G! :)

Havent been posting for quite some time! I guess during the weekdays I won post so much bqh, unless I'm really really free like how I was during the IDMI days :)

haha 3G literally screamed when we heard that MATH TEST WAS POSTPONED YAY. :D If not there'll be like two tests this week and I would have died today!

Anyway, physics test tomorrow! Shall aim to get A+ again! :) Jiayou me and everyone else! :D

Rawr posting on IPAD is taking twice the time I take to type a post on my laptop. Shall go back to physics revision soon ^^

Well, at least I have the weekends to study for Maths test!

Usher for 55th anniversary :) Womder what will happen hahahaha.

Service Learning! :D at 7:45 PM

Service learning today! Fun and enriching experience for me!

Previously for our year 2 level camp first day, we went for CIP @ Sunlove! :) Also one-room rented flats, but the purpose of us going there is different. That one we went there to help them to clean their house and stuff, quite fun also!

I remember the elderly in that house being sooo friendly and nice and she even treated us to packet drinks! After cleaning up her house, which was quite clean initially already, we sat down and talked, she told us many things! At least we went to a house with a chatty and friendly elderly, so I was thankful for that! :)

Oops, side-tracked.

Although the purpose was different, but the one-room rented flats were the same. The layout was exactly the same as the one at Sunlove, and some elderly in there were also as friendly as the Auntie my group met at Sunlove! :) Oh and I haven't mentioned the purpose yet. It was supposedly to teach the elderly first aid!

So my group was C2! With Alisha, Benjamin and Staff Jaime! :D So started off at the forth floor, knocked on the door. Wasn't very successful because only 2 or 3 of them opened the door and let us talk to them, but we didn't go in. Passed them the first aid kit, explained a little, chat a little, and that's it. Thought the day would be bad because we got ignored so many times ):

Things got better after that though! Went up to the sixth floor and met this 79 year old Indian lady, with a 42 year old daughter. She was very friendly and invited us in, so we went in and talked to her. From those things that she told us, I can tell that she's a really responsible and optimistic mother, and she loves her daughter so much that even though she's bed ridden and couldn't talk at all, and is even giving her troubles because her daughter always cannot sleep until 3am+, she still takes care of her well! Maybe you would say that that's a mother's job, but imagine living alone with a daughter who can't talk or speak (can understand though) for 42 years. That really made me look up to her. Talked to her for quite awhile, listening to her telling us about her family and things like that. It was really enjoyable talking to her! And from the way she praises her daughter, I can tell that she's really proud of her, because her daughter is able to understand 3-4 languages, despite her being unable to speak!

There were many others whom we stood at the door and talked to them. The people that we actually talked to are really nice, and they are willing to share their life story with us. There's even one man that sort of feedback to us about his situation, and that the RC didn't really do anything when he told them.

Another situation we met was that this 60 year old looking auntie invited us into her house -- not to teach her first aid, but to show us how her house is slanted and how uncomfortable she is living there. We collated the feedbacks that we have gotten from the residents, and hopefully there will be improvements! :)

The next house that we entered was this really thin and bony 79 year old uncle's house! He invited us to go in and we sat on the floor and talked. His house was really clean and he can speak fluent English! Was quite amazed at that! Yup and according to him, he can also speak Chinese and Malay! 真是活到老,学到老! It was was a really epic talk, because he started talking about how the climate is changing so many viruses will mutate and cause diseases. Quite epic because he's really serious in a funny way! And he also reminded us about things like washing our hands before we eat and we should treasure time because it is precious and stuff! Nice old man, I would say! :D

I think the last house that we went to was this 50+ year old auntie's house. She even treated us to drinks! Educated her about first aid, talked awhile as usual. She was telling us about how she have so many grandchildren and how she takes care of her 2 year old grandson from Monday to Friday.

Well, all in all, I think this service learning trip was really fun and enriching and I have learnt a lot of values that I wouldn't be able to learn during curriculum times. Things like treasuring our time, making good use with it, and be contented with what we have. Not to mention about optimism. From those elderly that we visited, we asked them if they were happy, and most of them replied "of course!" like almost immediately without thinking and others thought for awhile and said "yes its okay".

With such a small house and so many things lacking as compared to our own houses, which is much bigger and there are many more facilities, they are still happy with their life and really contented with what they have. It's about treasuring what we have, I guess, because I can tell that they really treasure their's. Life still goes on, so why not be happy with life, and be happy with what you have :)

I really like to interact with the elderly, because every time after I talk to them, I would feel like I have learn something valuable today, and that valuable thing that I learnt would follow me through my entire life. After all, their life experience is so much more that ours! :D

Let's hope that when we go back in September, we can help more people :)

IDMI has come to an end today! :) But as of how we did today.. Hmmmm.

Well, just want to thank Si Jia, for being such a great leader, Michelle, Stephen and Hua Sheng for their awesomeness and contributions to the project! :) We should have a G6 outing to Michelle's house soon! :D

Although we're a group of 5 (the only group of 5 in class), but I still think that we're great! Will miss the epic three days of IDMI! :) And thanks Stephen for letting us go to your house (I still love his house) and sitting/lying on your bed to do work! :)

After that, went Bugis with Shermaine and Rui Ling. Haha, I MISS THE 2F TIMES! :) But then our gettogether sort of got gatecrashed by 3 NPCC guys. DISHENG, STEPHEN AND HUASHENG!

LOL but nonetheless, we still achieved our objective of the get together :D Although with the three guy's random comments on random stuff. HAHA, fun!

Called Mom and asked whether I can stay outside for dinner (coz I wanted to go for prayer meet/ prayer walk) but she didn't allow ): So I went home!

And rawr, to think that our 3 IDMI days are over, which means that real horror is going to start. THESE THREE DAYS brought me back to holiday mood. NOW, I have to bring myself to the back-to-school mood! 3 tests (and maybe more) next week!

Gonna aim higher this term!

Everything's going against me now.

Whatever the matter is, I had fun today :) There were just so many epic moments! :D

However, mood got dampened ever since that sentence came out. Its not that we have given up or we don't care. Its just that we have the right to choose where we want to go too.

Not in the mood to talk about anything else, although today was just so awesome.

Whatever the case is, maybe I just want to say that:

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

So I will never let my life end before it is supposed to.

There're many things that I feel like typing out here, but I guess somethings are better left unsaid.

Just wished that they would understand.

IDMI DAY TODAY! :D

But I went to school at normal school time! Haha, then after that went to Stephen's house to do IDMI. I'M CURRENTLY IN LOVE WITH HIS HOUSE! Its sooooo big and sooooo nice!

Anyway, quite productive I guess. Finished the powerpoint and the script (first draft!) and SLACKED (i.e watch random funny videos and laughed like mad, and played SIMs.)

Never thought this bunch of people can be so nice to talk to! Haha and I realised something pretty cool! All 5 of us came from different year 1/2 classes! Okay maybe not very cool but I think it is! :D Today was epic! :)

On a side note, IDMI PRESENTATION IS ON FRIDAYYYY! )): Quite nervous about it but I guess it's gonna be okay!

Had dinner super early today! (at like 7:15) Considering how my dinner would always be at 8+. Haha, today was surprisingly early!

YAY can reach school later tomorrow, which means that I can wake up later tomorrow! ^^

But oh no, IDMI week (3 days) is getting me into the holiday mood again. It just feels like the holidays all over again. And then when we get back to school in week 3, we're going to have lots of tests!!

So I better start doing homework so that I'd have time for revision! :D

Haha, I kinda hate my seat now! It's like so warm and hot and stuffy ): Still miss my old seat which has 1) A FAN SPINNING REALLY FAST on top of me, 2) NATURAL WIND coming in from the window and 3) THE TEACHER'S FAN.

Apart from the fact that I went to collect my passport, and had piano, and went to cut my fringe, nothing happened today. Actually that made up quite a part of the day, but oh well!

Had piano at 1:45 today. Quite worried about my piano exam which is coming up in one month! Shall practice more! (: And was thinking about what will happen if it falls on the common test week ):

Rawr, really need to start revising. 8 subjects. With so many things to remember! ):

But no, I'm not gonna turn into a mugger! :) Haha just gonna do more work than I usually do! On a random note, I went to cut my fringe just now. Pretty short now, ready for tomorrow's SPOTCHECK! :D

Oh something that I just realised: IF PIANO IS ON MONDAY, IT MEANS THAT I CAN'T GO FOR DACTYL COMPTRAINS ): Oh well, shall work something out, even if that means I'd need to have piano on Saturdays! Willing to sacrifice for Dactyl! :) But it depends on whether teacher has time )))): And whether there's SJ on Saturday!

Hmm, there's CEO (central east outing) tmr! Cannot make it though! ): But I'm gonna collect my passport! :D But that means that I won't have my cute picture from 10 years ago on my passport anymore ):

And there's piano tomorrow! Haven't touch my piano for this week ): IDK how I'm gonna pass my exam which is quite soon! I think.

Well, finished Chem and Math today, there's still physics and LA but I'm too lazy to do ): On a side note, DESPICABLE ME IS REALLY CUTE :D

I spent my time watching drama just now! Maybe I should stay up tonight to figure out physics!

Life's unfair. But if we enjoy it, life's still good! That's what I've been telling myself! :) Random, but pretty true, isn't it!

As you all can see from the title, this is my #400 post! :D Its funny how I thought I'd reach my 400th post last year December. And end up typing the 400th post 7 months later! (haha if you all didn't know I said I was gonna have my #400 post typed somewhere in December last year when I was typing my #300 post!)

SJ day preparation, stayed back with squad to prepare for SJ day the next day. Was rehearsing my script throughout with Jun Hern and he pangseh-ed me for SMC meeting afterwards. Talked to some of the seniors and watched the guys tie the spars for flag raising the next day. Haha EPIC moments when they raised the gunny sack. Flag party had their rehearsal after wards! Reached home at around 8?

SJ DAY! :D Woke up at 5:30 and waited for Diane to fetch me to school! (: Chionged change and reached parade square and took attendance. Then went off the practice my speech for the last time, and then flag raising ceremony started!

Was a little nervous while reading the message because it was in front of the whole school and when I look straight I see Ma'am Wan Xin right in front LOL. Then it was like finally over, then chiong-ed back to class and change. Forgot to bring my skirt so had to ask Felicia to bring for me! ._.

After that ate lunch at 1045. Early ttm! RT started at 11:30! Well.. since the senior high students were having their CTs, we weren't allowed to talk loudly, but we were at year 1 year 2 block, if the senior high students can hear us, they must have super duper sharp ears -_-

Anyway, pretty slack RT. Yupp, taught them keluar baris and bersurai and hope that they are able to do it next RT during last parade. Hopefully.

SMC session was goal setting and debrief for them. Their goals were pretty good, hopefully they are able to achieve it! Except for one goal, I guess. :)

Today:

Went for service again. Thought about it, and hesitating whether or not to raise my hand. I guess personal / family issues bah. Hmm, I guess I will, eventually, but not now :)

Yupp, then slacked all the way till now.. Shall attempt to do some work later (:
